  THE MOUSE QUEEN (songs by Ben Glasstone who co-wrote the book with Tim Kane) is a free-wheeling compilation of Aesop’s five most favourite fables told through the tale of Tilly Mouse’s journey from country rodent to Jungle Queen – and her struggles on route via the big city and a lion called Leonard who wants to be King of all Creation. Fortunes are twisted, tables are turned and backs are scratched as Mouse and Lion seek their fortunes in the metropolis amidst a joyous jumble of puppets, shadows and dancing cheeses.Deploying multi-talented actor/musician/puppeteer performers in its cast, THE MOUSE QUEEN has played to packed houses and critical acclaim in London and New York, joining the Not So Loud stable for a 2006/7 run at the Unicorn and Hampstead Theatres.
